The purpose of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction is to assist schools with improving student outcomes both academic and socio-emotional areas. The department strives to develop and offer professional learning opportunities and technology-enhanced instruction. Using the Allendale Six instructional framework, the department of Curriculum and Instruction will guide teachers in areas that best benefit their professional growth and student learning.


The mission of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction is to promote academic achievement and increase teacher capacity. We will encourage teachers and provide the support and resources necessary to improve student learning outcomes. We strive for both personal growth and academic performance as we develop the whole child.


By June 2021, students Grades 3 through 8 will demonstrate academic proficiency on state standardized assessments by meeting or exceeding the benchmark specifics
