ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Are you looking for your next career in education?  Allendale County School District is looking for you.

At 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, the district will host a recruitment expo.  Its goal is to ensure the district is fully staffed with highly-qualified employees for the upcoming school year.

Principals and department leaders will be present to meet and interview candidates. Early contracts may be offered to qualified applicants certified in subject areas, officials said.

“Without the proper pieces in place, we cannot effectively reach our academic goals. Great staff is the lifeblood of our district, and Dr. Gilmore’s astute leadership process has afforded Allendale County Schools to hire great employees this year,” Director of Human Resources Kalu Kalu, Jr. said.

Interested candidates are encouraged to complete online applications on the Allendale County Schools website before the event and bring multiple copies of their résumé.

The recruitment event is one of many recruiting efforts the district has put in place including agreeing to offer signing bonuses for new teachers and housing for district employees.
