Veterans Day Program

Good Afternoon Tiger Family,

On Monday, November 14, 2022, the JROTC Cadets also known as the Tiger Battalion, hosted a Veterans Day program to honor and celebrate those who served our country. It was indeed a huge success. The JROTC is led by Chief Jeffery Gordan and Sergeant Major Norman Fisher. When asked about their take on the program, CSM Norman Fisher responded, "Our cadets did an outstanding job planning and executing the Veterans Day program. These cadets never cease to amaze me." Chief Jeffery Gordon stated, "Our JROTC cadets performed admirably for the Veterans, members of this community and all that attended the event. This reflects the attitude, character, and commitment that our cadets possess, and I am proud to be leading this program." The speaker for the  event was former Allendale-Fairfax High School graduate Colonel Adrian Priester who is a Senior Aviator and is currently the Garrison Commander for The McCrady Training Center in Columbia. Colonel Priester said it was an “extraordinary privilege” to be before Allendale County School District students, and hopes they left with a better understanding of one word–service."
