Dear Allendale County Community of Learners, Allendale County Schools and its offices will reopen on Wednesday, October 2nd. We understand this is a difficult time, so we are doing everything we can to make this transition smoother. For students or staff without access to water or electricity, we will have showers and toiletries available to use. We will also provide hot breakfast and lunch to all of our students and staff. We are allowing students to dress down in lieu of uniforms. However, we still expect all students to wear appropriate clothing as outlined in the Student Handbook. There will be no after school activities or programs for the remainder of the week. Parents please be reminded that October 7, 8, and 9th are no longer intercession days, attendance is mandatory! We will use these as make up-days for Hurricane Debbie in August. We look forward to seeing our students after this stressful time. Parents we understand this is a difficult situation but we want our students to be a as successful as possible. Please support us in our return to school. Attendance is key to academic success! We weathered this storm together as a community, #TogetherWeCanDoThis Everyone please stay safe and keep faith!

Good evening Tiger Family! We realize that homecoming is a memorable time in the Allendale-Fairfax Community. Due to the impending weather, we have had to make a difficult decision. We have decided to move our homecoming festivities to include homecoming parade, bonfire, game, and tailgating to October 10th and October 11th, 2024 where we will play the Ridgeland Jaguars. We ask for your understanding as we consider the safety of our students, staff, and community. We look forward to you joining us on October 10th and 11th and hope you keep the momentum until then. Remember, once a Tiger, always a Tiger! Superintendent Dr. Vallerie Cave Coach Coby Brandyburg

September is Attendance Awareness Month and with rising truancies, we have to make a change. Superintendent Dr. Cave sat down with the Truancy Collaborative to address the issue and come up with new ways to resolve the problem. Remember, attendance directly correlates with grades and it is required by law for children aged 5-17 to attend school.
