The AFHS Cosmetology Class invites you to attend their salon clinic tomorrow, November 23rd. Our students, under the guidance of our experienced instructors, are working hard to perfect their skills, and we would love for you to come experience their talent firsthand.
Whether you're looking for a haircut, color treatment, manicure, or other salon services, our clinic provides professional-level care at a fraction of the cost. Not only will you receive high-quality services, but you'll also be supporting our students as they build their skills and prepare for their future careers. Please note that the only form of payment we accept is cash. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome. We recommend arriving early because clients are seen on a first-come first-serve basis. We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate you supporting our program!

Congratulations to our November Staff and Scholars of the Month. Each person was hand selected because they have shown extraordinary character, effort, and kindness. Their model behavior reminds us all to show up and give our very best each day!

Superintendent Dr. Vallerie Cave brought together our entire administration for professional development. As we reach the mid-point of the school year, it’s crucial to revisit our goals and ensure we're on track. Each school shared their progress and outlined plans to meet their targets. By collaborating across schools, we’re building consistency and fostering innovation.

Dear Parents and families, Please be advised that Allendale County Schools will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow and will NOT be impacted by the Town of Allendale's water shut off.

At last night’s Board/Community Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Vallerie Cave outlined her plan to restore our district’s independence. Key initiatives include adding success coaches to track student progress, conducting school walk-throughs to monitor classrooms, and streamlining technology for more effective virtual instruction. Dr. Cave is also focused on strengthening the partnership between students, families, and schools to foster collaboration and support. We must unite as a community to reach this common goal, remember #TogetherWeCanDoThis!

Congratulations to our newest board members, Althea Carter and Farrah Maner, who were sworn in on yesterday evening. They were surrounded by friends and family as they took the oath. We are excited to have them on board as work to regain board control!
